Find out how Charlotte CPA, Nesha Pai is carving out a niche with her outsourced accounting offer and getting more leads from her Bizink website.
When Nesha Pai Singer launched her own business in 2011, she named it after her father and his legacy. “He came to the US for a better life,” says Nesha. Five years later, Pai CPA, PLLC is a thriving firm that provides full outsourced accounting services.
Their proactive approach has earned them many satisfied clients, as the testimonials on Pai’s website show. “You aren’t just a part of our team, you are family,” reads one.
Nesha’s decision to open her own accounting firm came after 3 years employed at another company. “I knew I could do better,” she recalls. “I took one big client with me. They believed in me and created a foundation for me to start my own practice.”
Since that time, the outsourced services that Pai CPA offers have proven very popular. Their main clients are businesses who are larger than a start-up, but not yet large enough to need an in-house accounting department. Pai CPA acts as their Chief Financial Officer/Controller, all the way down to the staff level.
“We provide bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, forecasting and budgeting, internal controls and cash flow management,” Nesha explains. “The combination of our expertise, experience and high work ethic means all our clients receive close professional and personal attention.”

Nesha credits Pai’s high levels of customer service and personality as key to their competitive advantage. “If we don’t know it, we’ll find out what it is AND we will get it right,” she says. “We under-promise and over-deliver. Plus, we’re fun to work with. We’re not your typical stuffy boring accounting firm!”
Pai CPA’s digital strategy includes a comprehensive website. It’s been important for their continued growth, creating awareness and curiosity. “It’s very clean and functional, and has a great resource center,” Nesha says. “What I like most about it is that it focuses on all aspects of business, not just tax.”
At the beginning of 2016, Pai’s website contract was coming to an end. “Plus, it was the start of a new year,” Nesha recalls. “I wanted to open it with a bang and a new brand.” While she was considering her options for re-branding the website, Nesha met Bizink at the annual Thriveal convention. “I was so impressed with their design ideas and their functionality,” she says.
Nesha describes the design and build process with Bizink as painless. “They were very thorough in asking questions and very quick to deliver the site,” she recalls. “They have solutions for any and all issues.”

Since the re-launch, the increased awareness around the site has generated more leads for the business. Bizink’s follow-up support and continued assistance has been part of what Nesha describes as a very helpful and responsive service. “It’s been a great experience with Bizink,” she enthuses. “I would recommend them to any accountant who doesn’t want to be typical and boring. I consider Bizink to be more cutting edge.”
Looking back over her start-up and initial growth, Nesha has learned a few things she’s keen to pass on to other new start-ups. “Never give up,” she says. “Have a good business plan. If one way doesn’t work, try another and swim like hell. Network, network, network!”
