Beyond that, when someone writes a positive review of you, that review is shared with their connections, giving you additional exposure that you haven’t had to pay for.

Many people have Facebook accounts, which means they have access to Facebook recommendations and may use them when making purchasing decisions.

**Note that before you can obtain Facebook recommendations you must have your Facebook business page where people can leave their reviews.

Use this template to ask clients you’ve built a relationship with to leave a Facebook recommendation for you. Send this email individually, not as part of a mass email campaign, and make it personal. Include the recipient’s name and indicate how long you’ve worked together.

Before sending this email to your contacts, please make sure to do the following:

  1. Replace all text in bold/red font with your firm’s information
  2. Replace the bold/red text with unbold/black text
  3. Insert a link to your Facebook page in the third paragraph
